Golfing in Kathmandu combines challenging courses with breath-taking scenery, making it more than just another leisure activity. Complimented by the pleasant climate, Kathmandu offers nearly perfect year-round golfing conditions.

There are also several golf courses in Kathmandu. Royal Nepal Golf Course and Gokarna Golf Club worth mention in this respect. The Royal Nepal Golf Course provides a wide range of facilities to the golf players. In the year 1829 the Royal Nepal Golf Course was set up. It is one of the oldest Asian golf clubs. On the other hand, Gokarna Golf Club is designed by the world-known designer David Kidd. Many professional tournaments are held over here.
