About Designer RD
Rajesh Dhakhwa is already a name in the Nepali fashion industry. At the crisp age of 33, he has captured the hearts of fashion lovers in Nepal as well as abroad. His achievements are manifold. He has organized the sartorial side of 25 music videos, Nepali Music Shows, Movies and much more. Dhakhawa had his formal education at Tribhuvan University, Public Youth College, specialized in color combination and pattern-making at the Selegia Institute of Art and Design, Singapore, participated in workshop at Bunka Gakuen-Tokyo, Japan. At present, he is the managing director of Chhahat Boutique, Vice President of the Himalayan Disabled Welfare Society, Fashion Editor at F.M Publications and director at the Shangri-La Event Management Company Private Limited.

He was awarded the Best Designer of the Year in 1997 Fashion Parade. He was also official designer for Miss World Nepal '97/2000 (Millennium Dome London), Mr. Grasim International, 1999 and for the 8th SAF Games the same year, as well as the designer of Mrs. World 1999 held in Jerusalem, official designer for Mr./Mrs. University International Beauty Pageant 1997, already done 7 Fashion Shows in Japan, and much more (The SAF Games assignment took him 3 months to complete). His contribution to the fashion industry is immense and will see more of this designer's creative designer wears in the near future. Japanese television recently did a documentary on him.

Whether it be causal wear or formal clothings, the Dhakhwa collection spells creativity and excellence. Yet another city's young achiever has paved his way to popularity and has hopes achieving much more still." The Fashion World is my Oyster" could definitely serve as his motto.
