Introduction
Once a private garden of Kaiser Shumsher J.B. Rana, the Garden of Dreams is now open to the public. Located within the walls of the Kaiser Mahal, adjacent to the Ministry of Education, this is a much sought-after oasis of calm and well maintained greenery. Although recently restored, most of its neo-classical architecture and water bodies, such as the central lily pond, have been preserved. It is self-sustained through the collected entrance fees, as well as the cafe and bar within its property. This garden welcomes both locals and foreigners alike within its walled compound, inviting them to take a break from the hustle and bustle and dream.
