All the food made with the freshest quality ingredients. We use all-natural salad products directly from our premium grower, Triple A, and vegetables from farmers around the valley, most of our meat & fish products are purchased from valley’s reknowned suppliers whose products are processed under Western technology. We use light cooking oil, all fruits and vegetables are soaked in iodine water before used.

We are centrally located yet amazingly tucked away in romantic water garden from the maddening scene of Kathmandu city. Featured in Lonely Planet Guide Book, it is reminiscent of a neo classic
summer house with its rustic charm and casual elegance. We have from elegant & cozy dinning areas to casual sunny & shady terraces suitable for everyone’s taste & choice. We are very close to Thamel (tourist area), walking distance from most of the hotels, embassies, banks and shopping areas.

1905 offers one of the best ambience and menu for high tea reservation, it is designed exclusively to satisfy the Western taste in Eastern Style. A pleasant and interesting menu has been put together for our spoilt tea drinkers. The best organic whole leaf teas have been selected from Eastern Nepal and Asian region. Reservation is required for high tea with minimum of ten guests.

Menus:
Our menu reflects our image, which blends with many local ingredients. The menu is selected by Executive Chef Vincent Ginocchio born and trained in the US, graduated from New England Culinary Institute, US.  His menu features mouthwatering dishes infused with the fresh taste of the season.
The menu was created to excite the palate of our local clientele; however for our most welcome visitors to Nepal who may be looking for an authentic taste we have included a selection of Nepalese Choices.

Catering
We are pleased to prepare an intimate dinner or a gala event for 50 or more people. We host musical nights, receptions, corporate parties, fundraising events etc. Please call for details.

Private Party Facilities
One can book parties from 2 to 500 or more guests in our “Amarawati” garden or deck or dining area above the pond.

Bar
Bar is the center of our restaurant. It reflects 1905’s character, with its elegant, friendly and relaxing environment. The bar is centrally placed with a small lounge area where one can unwind one's self with soothing house music.  Our bar man “Keshab” who has won several bar competition will shake your choice of cocktail. Don’t fall for his magic smile !
