But what we can tell you already now is, that ‘The Castle Resort’ is one of the best places to stay at when you are in Pokhara. Besides our cozy rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens we offer you a restaurant with continental and Nepali kitchen, a pub, a heated swimmingpool, outdoor and indoor activities like Badminton, Volleyball, Darts and a lot more. Only a short taxi ride by road or a 15 minutes uphill walk from the hustle and bustle of Pokhara city it offers serenity and retreat and at the same time a great base to explore what the area has to offer.

Don´t fear the winter in Nepal! We have log fires in the Pub and Restaurant, heaters in the rooms and hot water bottles for your beds.

The Accomodation
The Hotel Castle Resort Pokhara is romantically located on a small hilltop overlooking Pokhara’s Phewa lake.Only a short taxi ride or a 15 minutes walk it offers the best of two worlds. Being not too far and not too near to the hustle and bustle of Pokharas tourist area it offers serenity and retreat and at the same time makes a great base to explore what the area has to offer.We have 10 rooms each with a private garden and full facilities.We are pleased to say that we have 1 A/C Suite with a downstairs sitting room and sunken bath tub, upstairs twin king sized beds divided by a curtain, overlooking  the lake. The other family room has a sitting room area with DVD,2 king sized beds divided by a curtain and a large bathroom. Both are admirably suited for families and close friends. We also have single rooms ( with standard double bed) and double rooms (King size bed) all with facilities and private gardens.The A/C  only works when we have electricity from the Govt. grid. We have 24 hrs ancillary power for lights.

The Restaurant
In our restaurant we serve a variety of Nepali and continental dishes. The 30 seat, two tier restaurant, the larger lower tier for non-smokers, is slightly more formal than Branigan’s  Pub, with subdued  lighting, tablecloths, place mats and plush chairs with a regency  print covering.  Very cosy  indeed. Naturally the cutlery is solid silver and the plates solid gold.

Our Swimming
Pool The Hotel Castle Resort Pokhara offers you a heated swimming pool so you can have a relaxing dip after a full day of Pokhara’s activities. Or you decide to stay all the day and spend a lazy day in the pool, enjoying the sun and the great view and refresh yourself in our pub and restaurant. See other facilities what else you can do while staying here. The pool is also open for our non-staying guests for a little fee.
