Situated in the heart of Mustang and being the head-quarters of the Mustang district, the town of Jomsom, at an altitude of 2800 meter, is remarkably developed considering the remote location. The place can be reached by a 30-minute flight from Pokhara. A spectacular flight through one of the deepest gorges in the world between Mt. Annapurna I (8091 meter) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 meter). Some people prefer to trek to Jomsom, a walk through old villages with astonishing views on the mountains. Jomsom can also be reached by jeep on a tenuous road from Beni.

ACCOMMODATION Mustang Resort is located at an altitude of 2800 meter, at the foot of the Himalaya’s and above the bank of the Kali Gandaki River. The resort is surrounded by more than 10 hectares of lush, green garden. The garden consists of an organic vegetable garden, garden with pots (French style) and apple orchard. The architecture of the resort is based on traditional houses of the Thakalis and blends in naturally with the local surroundings. Mustang Resort is built with local materials and has used the rich, traditional heritage to create an exclusive approach to accommodation in the Himalaya’s.Mustang Resort has 6 suites, 12 deluxe and 44 standard rooms. All rooms have basic amenities like hot & cold water, Wi-Fi and a tea/coffee maker. From all our rooms, there is a spectacular view on the majestic Nilgiri Mountain (7061 meter) and Mt. Tilicho (7134 meter). Rooms are decorated and furnished in Tibetan, ethnic style.We also have conference facilities.For our guests who are looking for a spiritual experience in the mountains, there is a separate meditation hall.
DINING Mustang Resort is offering a wide range of healthy and high quality meals. Most of our vegetables and fruits are grown on the organic garden surrounding the resort, which guarantees fresh ingredients for our simple but delicious set of choices on the menu.Mustang Resort has 3 dining halls: > Buddhist theme dining hall > Japanese theme dining hall > Typical Thakali style dining hall Both dining halls have a unique atmosphere, designed to blend in with the local ambiance and furnished and decorated with traditional, Tibetan influenced furniture.
