Introduction

Chandra Ban was created as a refuge for discerning travellers who want the Nepali experience but don't want to stay in a polluted, crazy Asian city. We offer a quiet sanctuary with fresh air, an extensive garden with private terrace or garden areas to watch the sunset over Nagajuna mountain. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind and contemplate life Tamang-style (an ethnic group of Nepal) from a comfortable seat under the sittal in the garden. It is ideal as a base for visiting the Kathmandu Valley from Boudha to Swayambhu to Patan.Chandra Ban is small lodge with 3 studio apartments and 2 larger apartments, so it is possible to book the whole lodge for the exclusive use of a special group or retreat. Maximum 12 guests on a twin sharing basis.

-start your trek from Chandra Ban: avoid the crowds on the trails, don your backpack and with set off for a unique experience to Helumbu
-Shopping: there are no shops near the resort but it is possible to arrange a special visit to a pashmina factory, a Tibetan carpet factory or a warehouse of old, authentic Tibetan furniture.-relaxing, recuperating, regenerating and digesting the experience of visiting Nepal
-Pick up a book from the library and enhance your knowledge-practice your yoga on the terrace, in the garden or in the Garden Pavilion
