Nepal has participated in the 12th Thai International Tourism Fair held in Thailand.

In the tourism fair, Nepal promoted its various tourist products, especially Lumbini and the Buddha, said Sarad Pradhan, Media Officer at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

Publicity materials related to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha, and the Pashupatinath Temple, the places of reverence for the Buddhists and Hindus all over the world respectively, were kept in the tourism fair that ran February 13 through 16 in the Thai Capital.

NTB stated that many visitors to the fair expressed their keen interest to visit Nepal and they considered Nepal as their close friendly country.
