2nd Nepal Music Education Festival 2013

Nepal Music Education Festival (NMEF) is a music education festival organized by Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (KJC) with an aim to promote a proper music education in Nepal through workshops, lectures, teachers training program, performances, and interaction programs.

We believe that a Music Education Festival is one way to bring together the diverse talents and energies of quality musicians from around the world and within Nepal. So we strive hard to bring quality educators from around the globe to Nepal so that Nepali musicians can acquire international music education in a fairly reasonable price.

This year NMEF 2013 is getting bigger and better with loads of exciting educational workshops. We are inviting international musicians and music educators like Mariano Abello, Natalia Calderón, Juan Ortiz from Spain.

(Note: Placement of students to categorize their levels of music knowledge: Beginners or Intermediate)

> Workshop Schedule

Time: 10:00 am~ 6:30 pm
Venue: Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, Jhamsikhel
(Note: All classes will be conducted in groups)

> Concert
Date: 7th October, 2013
Time: 5 pm onwards
Venue: Moksh Auditorium, Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur
(Note: Distribution of certificates to the participants/students)
