Nepal has a rich heritage, but is everyone proud of that? Perhaps there are varied answers for this. Whatever the reason and wherever you are, you should not forget where you come from. Thus, to bring forth the spirit of Nepali culture and tradition, Premiere Event is dedicating a night to Nepal’s rich heritage called ‘Heritage Night’. As per the press release issued by Premiere Event, the event is scheduled to take place at Le Sherpa restaurant, Lazimpat on April 27. “The event is expecting an audience of more than 400, which will include young entrepreneurs, established business owners, people from the expatriate community, diplomats and Nepali celebrities,” states the release.
However, there are numerous events being held in the Capital for similar purpose, what is different this time? “The aim is to bring young and older generation together on the same platform, to appreciate and reminiscence the cultural heritage of Nepal. This event is partly focused on spreading understanding of culture of Nepali folk music to the youth.”
Along with such motive, the event will witness the performance by Kutumba. Other traditional dancers and kathak and lakhey dancers will be collaborating with their music.
Audience can relish French cuisine with a Nepali touch.“We will also provide a walk through gallery of historic pictures of Kathmandu, handicrafts, arts, instruments of authentic Nepali culture to bring out a tint of Nepali heritage,” as per the release.
The event begins from 6:00 pm onwards and the concert timing is from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm
