Nepal International Trade Fair 2014

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry ( FNCCI ) is organising the 3rd edition of Nepal International Trade Fair in Bhrikutimandap, Kat-hmandu, from March 6, 2014.

The five-day event will have around 400 stalls representing national and international traders. The fair will have a national pavilion showcasing handicraft products, agro products, education and information technology and small hydro projects, among others.

There would be international pavilions showcasing products from the USA, the UK, India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Iran, among other gulf countries. The international participants would put on display items including garment, leather products, food items, automobiles, cosmetics and decorative items.The organisers have expected 250,000 national and 2,500 international visitors and Rs 150 million transactions.

The fair aims at promoting Nepal’s international trade and enhancing exports and will help promote Nepali products in the international market which will ultimately help increase boost exports.
