Music aficionados get ready for the ‘biggest jazz party in the Himalayas’!

The weeklong jazz festival will kick off from October 16 and bring jazz artists from all over the world to Kathmandu. Popular as Jazzmandu, this is the 12th edition of Surya Nepal Kathmandu Jazz Festival and the festival will enrich the taste of music lovers with musical performances by artists from various countries like Cuba, Sweden, Australia, Singapore, and Brazil.

So book your tickets and keep your evenings free to enjoy some exciting jazz music with friends. The events will happen around town in various places, like Kupondole, Lazimpat, Jhamsikhel, Patan, Gokarna Forest Resort, Tripureshwar and Durbar Marg.

Nepal’s popular jazz band Cadenza Collective will perform alongside with Dhrupad Caravan from Nepal, Tropic Green from Singapore, Eduardo Mendoca from Brazil, Pity Cabrera Trio from Cuba/France, Ange Takats from Australia, KJ Denhert from America and Kristian Persson Elements from Sweden.

The festival will start with a bang at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory in Jhamsikhel from 4 PM. The event is free for all but with limited seating space, interested people better hurry.
