KAPILVASTU, Oct 8: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan visited Pakadi Health Post in Kapilvastu and attended an event organized by United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on Wednesday. The actor, who arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday, is in his three-day visit to Nepal. He was welcomed by thousands of fans and well wishers who had come from different parts of Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and even India to get a glimpse of their favorite actor.

He added that in his 25-year film journey, his audiences have not only motivated him to keep on continuing films but have also inspired him to work in various social issues like education and health.

Aamir also met women health volunteers, women group, malnutrition affected children and pregnant women during his visit. Bishnu Poudel, one of the local residents and staff at the Pakadi Health Post, expressed his happiness on the superstar’s visit to Kapilvastu. “His association with the nutrition campaign will be very beneficial. His visit has given a positive message to everyone,” he said.
