Get ready for Mohit Chauhan, Kathmandu

Award-winning Bollywood playback singer Mohit Chauhan’s concert in Kathmandu is just round the corner. Scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 30, the organizers welcome the singer’s fans to attend the event to be held at Tundikhel.

The event organized by Nepalese Army Wives Association (NAWA), an organization engaged in empowering the wives of the Nepali army men, is being managed by The Premiere Events. A press meet was held at Radisson Hotel in Lazimpat on Tuesday to inform more about the concert.

Chauhan, who has been felicitated with many prestigious awards like the IIFA awards, Filmfare Awards, Zee Cine Awards and Star Screen Awards, among others, is also much loved in Nepal. Some of his popular songs are ‘Sadda Haq’, ‘Tum Se Hi’, ‘Jo Bhi Main’ and ‘Ye Dooriyan’.

According to the organizers, food stalls will be set up at the venue from 11 am onward on Saturday. East, West and South gates of Tundikhel will be open for the audience, who will also get to see the much loved Nepali singer Nima Rumba and the reggae group Joint Family Internationale performing live 2 pm onwards. The audience will have to wait till 6 in the evening to see Chauhan live.

The ticket rates are Rs 5,000, Rs 2,500, Rs 1,000 and Rs 500, and can be bought at various outlets in various outlets in Durbar Marg, Boudha, Lazimpat, Jhamsikhel, Thamel, Civil Mall in Sundhara, New Baneshwar, Koteshwar, Naxal, New Road and Pokhara. Proceeds from the event will be utilized for building a Vocational Training School by NAWA.
