NRNA to establish 5-star hotel in Nepal

The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has announced to establish a five-star hotel in Nepal with a view to promoting the country's tourism sector.

Speaking at a press conference here today, NRNA new President Shesh Ghale shared information about this. According to Ghale, a five-star hotel with 200 deluxe rooms will be established in one place among the capital or in Pokhara or Chitwan or Lumbini.

"Hotel business is an appropriate means for creating employment opportunity, gaining foreign currency and thereby supporting the country's economy," the NRNA President said, adding that they had a plan of investing in country's hydropower sector, commercial agriculture and development of physical infrastructure.

The NRNA has instituted a 'relief fund' to financially support the families whose members have been killed, injured and left stranded in the Gulf countries and Malaysia. The NRNA President said that he donated Rs. 10 million for the set up of the fund and expressed commitments to increasing the fund in the days ahead. The NRNA has so far collected Rs. 36.5 million to establish its office in the capital.
