Help promote Nepal's tourism: State Minister Sah

Minister of State for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Jwala Kumari Sah, has urged the West Bengal Government of India to help promote tourism in Nepal.

Minister of State Saha, who is on a visit to India, met with Tourism Minister of West Bengal, Rachpal Singh on Saturday, and urged him to help Nepal's endeavours to tourism promotion.

Under Secretary Matrika Marasini, a member in the entourage said Minister of State Sah told West Bengal Minister Rachpal that the peace process had reached a logical conclusion in Nepal and constitution writing was also nearing the final stage. It has created favourable environment for tourism in Nepal, he said quoting the minister of state.

On the occasion, Minister Singh reminded that tourists from both Nepal and India had to face hassles at the Raxaul border and urged both sides to work to make the border hassle free.

Minister of State Sah is in West Bengal to participate in a programme, 'Rediscovery of Nepal' organised jointly by Nepal Tourism Board and West Bengal-Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industries today.
