NTB CEO selection in limbo

Due to disagreements between the private sector members of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), the sub-committee to select the chief executive officer could not be formed once again.

The meeting held on Friday, was unable to select members to the sub-committee, as the three remaining members from the private sector refused to be a part of the sub-committee.

The board meeting was supposed to select one member from among Phampha Dhamala, Phurba Gyalzen and Tika Ram Sapkota for the sub-committee.

Supreme Court had directed NTB to include Dhurba Narayan Shrestha and Rewat Bahadur Thapa in the sub-committee.
