“Everything comes to an end‚” shares reigning Miss Nepal Shristi Shrestha‚ who was crowned Miss Nepal 2012 on May 6‚ 2012‚ and whose reign as Miss Nepal comes to an end on March 20 as Fanta The

Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2013 will be crowned on this day.

Of her days as Miss Nepal‚ Shristi says‚ “They are precious to me‚“ adding‚ “I got to learn so much as Miss Nepal. It wasn’t just about fancy stuff; I was involved in so many projects that took me to many parts of Nepal. I got to see rural Nepal. Also‚ the support‚ love‚ admiration that I received from the people is priceless. Money can’t buy that.”

As this gracious beauty ends her reign‚ 18 aspirants are ready to carry forward the legacy of Miss Nepal. And March 20 is the day when these beauties will be asked to keep their wits around them and put their best foot forward for the ultimate prize — the crown.

The fabulous 18 have been training for the last five weeks. Just a step away from their dream‚ one of the contestants Maya Sawad expresses‚ “The competition is tough but I am going to give it my best shot.”

Excited and happy‚ she shares that she is going to implement all the knowledge she has gained‚ to win the title.

Looking forward to the grand finale is Bindu KC with excitement and nervousness. “I am 90 per cent sure that I will win the title but can also feel the fear of losing as well. Let’s see what happens‚ it all depends on our performance on D-day‚” she reveals.

The girls will dazzle at the grand finale at the Nepal Academy‚ but the rules of all competitions is the same — there will be only one winner.

And to all the contestants‚ Shristi suggests‚ “Give your best but take it easy and don’t take pressure.” With her experience‚ Shristi feels there is lot more to do in the country and she hopes “the winner enjoys every minute of

her title‚ utilises the power and platform to make it productive”.
