Eka Deshma is probably what every Nepali have heard in there lifetime and every story begins with Once upon a time. Here we present you with a unique set of event, which indulges in appreciating, critiquing, screening and interacting with the future of Nepali cinema, those aspirant learners to be film professionals in the country.

The festival looks forward to celebrating a new age filmmaking, fresh faces and real stories. Filmmaking has taken a step down from an art limited to a privileged few. With the transformation of film reels to memory cards, the possibilities to portray moving images on screen have increased a hundred fold. This new age filmmaker is bold, has a vision and dares to take its story beyond pre-defined notions and cliché’ thought process. Remains undeterred by financial constraints and thrive into the action of transforming story to a reality in a form of cinema.
